Side Effects

Before receiving treatment, patients may need to undergo a skin test to prevent complications. The common side effects include allergic reaction, bruising at injection site, numbness, and temporary redness, swelling, pain/tenderness, or discoloration.

Recovery

Facial fillers require very minimal time and may allow patients to return to their normal regime directly following treatment. However for the first 24 hours it is advised to avoid strenuous activities and excessive sun or heat exposure

Results

In general, the results from injectables are temporary which commonly lasts for few months to about a year. It depends on the type of facial or filler or injectable used. For best results, additional treatment sessions are encouraged.
